What We Look For
You don't need a degree or industry experience. Here's what actually matters to us after 30 years of hiring.
Reliability
Show up on time, every shift. Production lines don't wait. This is the single most important thing we screen for.
Willingness to Learn
We train everyone from scratch — HACCP, GMP, equipment operation. All you need is the openness to learn how we do things here.
Communication
You'll work in a team. Being able to flag a problem, ask a question, or pass along instructions clearly keeps everyone safe and the line moving.
Physical Readiness
The work is physical — standing for long periods, working in cold environments (2-4C), lifting up to 25 kg. It's honest work, and your body adjusts.
Teamwork
A processing floor runs on coordination. Everyone from the line worker to the floor supervisor depends on each other. Individual heroes don't last here — teams do.
Food Safety Awareness
You'll learn HACCP on the job. But a basic understanding that food safety isn't optional — that hygiene and temperature control matter — goes a long way on day one.
Skills That Transfer Into This Industry
Already have experience in another field? Chances are your skills translate directly to food processing.
Restaurant or Kitchen Experience
You already understand food safety basics, hygiene standards, and working under time pressure. That's half the onboarding done.
Warehouse or Logistics Work
Familiarity with cold storage, inventory management, and forklift operation translates directly to our shipping and receiving roles.
Trades Background
Millwrights, electricians, and refrigeration techs are in high demand. If you've worked in any industrial maintenance environment, we need you.
Retail or Customer Service
Attention to detail, quality awareness, and the ability to follow procedures. QC and packaging roles value these skills highly.
Manufacturing or Assembly
If you've worked any production line — automotive, electronics, textiles — you understand pace, repetition, and quality standards. You'll adapt fast.
Military or First Responder
Discipline, composure under pressure, and following strict protocols. The processing floor rewards every one of those qualities.
Certifications and Training Resources
These aren't required to apply — but they'll give you a real edge and show you're serious about a career in food processing.
